2026年7月30日、ベルギー・ブリュッセルにおいて、浜田隆欧州連合日本政府代表部臨時代理大使及びマリア・クリスティーナ・ルッソ欧州委員会研究・イノベーション総局次長との間で、EUの研究開発支援枠組みである「ホライズン・ヨーロッパ」への日本政府の準参加に関する協定の署名が行われました。

日本の研究者及び参加機関はPillar IIへ参加し、助成金を受ける事が可能となります。

・Signing of the Agreement for the Association of the Government of Japan to Horizon Europe

On July 30, Mr. HAMADA Takashi, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Mission of Japan to the European Union, and Ms. Maria Cristina Russo, Deputy Director-General for Innovation, Prosperity and International Cooperation, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission, signed the Agreement for the association of the Government of Japan to Horizon Europe, the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation, in Brussels, Belgium.

Japan’s association covers Horizon Europe Pillar II. This pillar funds multinational research and innovation projects addressing major societal challenges related to climate, energy, health and the digital economy.
