Horizon Europe and Japan

Horizon 2020 is the financial instrument of the Europe 2020 Strategy and its flagship initiative the Innovation Union. Japanese researchers and research organisations can participate in this programme. Japanese researchers can apply to programmes targeted at individuals such as MSCA and ERC, while Japanese organisations can apply to research projects (RIA/IA), exchange activities (RISE/ITN) or support actions(CSA). Specific calls are available for joint and coordinated projects together with Japanese funding agencies.
